New DirectionsIn this area of my work I try out new ideas and techniques. They are not quilted and are sometimes not solid but have gaps through which you can see the wall they are hanging on. I sometimes apply acrylic paint or pastel after they are sewn.Prices range from £85 to £150. It means that a celebration is about to happen or that something exciting is on its way. I make a version of bunting to be used indoors to bring that light-hearted feeling into the home. But I also like the idea of making bunting in more sober colours for the celebration of sadder occasions such as funerals. Then they become more like prayer-flags.
